Adam Lopez, Sr., 50, of Altus, OK, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Erin Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Adam Lopez, Sr. was born on October 23, 1961 to Severiano and Dora (Avila) Lopez in Clinton, Oklahoma. His mother died at an early age and he was raised by his grandmother. Adam worked as a mechanic for over thirty years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Adam is survived by two sons, Adam Lopez, Jr. and wife, Karen, of San Antonio, TX, Christopher Lopez, Sr. of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Dorothy Lopez of Saginaw, MI, Adamina Lopez of Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren, Adam Lopez, III, Jordan Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Jr., Lorenzo Lopez; and twelve brothers and sisters, Nicholas Lopez and wife, Emma, Linda Lee Lopez, Albert Lopez and wife, Mary, Mary Ellen Lopez, Sam Lopez, Jr. and wife, Blanca, Tracy Danato and husband, Phill, Francisco G. Lopez, Robert Navarro, Max Garcia and wife, Olivia, Lupe Lopez and wife, Susan, Janie Gray and husband, Bob, and Liz Willis and husband, Fred. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Manuela and Francisco Lopez; and four brothers and sisters, Eddie Lopez, Joe Garcia, Seripeo Flores, and Esmeralda Lopez.
