Adelina Ybarra, 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Altus, Oklahoma on Sunday, April 14, 2024. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 18th. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 19th in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with her son, Pastor Ruben Ybarra, officiating. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Adelina Solomon was born on September 7, 1959, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Sabas and Paulita (Lopez) Solomon. She met the love of her life, Luis Ybarra, in the 1970’s and after 32 years together they officially wed on January 31, 2016 in Altus. Together they raised six beautiful children. Adelina worked for Duke Public Schools for many years, demonstrating her dedicated work ethic and care for others to students, staff, and parents alike. She later carried on that dedication at English Village Manor. Adelina loved to play bingo, cooking for all, cleaning her car, and staying dressed up; but her true joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Adelina was a faithful member of Strong Tower Ministries where she embodied their mission of spreading God’s Word and Love throughout the community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sabas and Paulita; siblings, Elodia Solomon, Raymond Solomon, Cruz Solomon, Gloria Maldonado, Victor Solomon, David Solomon, and Juanito Solomon; and great grandchild, Atticus Reyes. Her memory will live on in her husband of almost 50 years, Luis; children, Luis Ybarra Jr. and Jennica Powers, Ruben Ybarra and wife, Angela, Juan Ybarra and wife, Sara, Migel Ybarra, Ruby Ybarra, and Angelica Ybarra all of Altus; 25 grandchildren, Lourie and Mark Garcia, Evan and Kimberly Ybarra, Jaxon L. Ybarra, Jaxon C. Albright, Kynden Ybarra, Felicia and Jacob Basadula, Danielle and Frank Mcglothin, Draven and Ellie Ybarra, Ashlan Ornelas, Moses Rodriguez, Kaysen Ybarra, Nathan Ybarra, Juan Ybarra Jr., Alex Kelly, Mena Kelly, Amelia Kelly, Gabriel Kelly, Rylan Ybarra, Migel Ybarra, Jr., and Anyiah Ybarra; 18 great grandchildren, Khloe, Aaron, Isaiah, Wynston, Urijah, Emberly, Neylan, Keegan, Jaden, Brylynn, Lincoln, Lila, Brooklyn, Rose, Dre, Clemintine, Henry, and Dawson; siblings, Paul Solomon, Joe Solomon, Juanita Revilla, and Elosia Revilla; and a host of other family members, friends, and church family.
