Adolfo J. “AJ” Ortega, 36, Blair, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. Cremation and memorial services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

AJ was born on June 3, 1984 to Joe Garcia Ortega and Carmen Lopez Ortega in Altus, Oklahoma. On March 14, 2013 AJ married Miranda Garcia in Altus and they made their home in Blair, Oklahoma with their children Keely, Kloee, Kenzee, Kylee, Haylee, Chevelle and Adolfo, Jr. “Bubba”.

AJ was a pizza artist in the restaurant industry and held managerial positions at several pizza locations in Altus, including Dominos Pizza in Altus at the time of his death.

AJ was a devoted father and was especially crazy about his kids and he loved spending time with his family. In his free time AJ loved lowriders and cars, fishing, dirt track racing and music through his loud speakers.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jose Angel Ortega, Jr. and his grandparents Adolfo and Sivestra Ortega. Survivors include his beautiful wife, Miranda Ortega; six daughters, Keely Ortega and Alexia Callahan, Kloee Ortega, Kenzee Ortega, Kylee Ortega, Haylee Hart, and Chevelle Ortega; one son, Adolfo Ortega, Jr. “Bubba”; four sisters, Veronica Lopez and husband, Chon, Esther Lopez and husband, Jorge, Betty Axtolis and husband, Efrain, and Angela Ortega; one brother, Eddie Barrera and wife, Devonna; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
