Alvin Don Jones

Alvin Don Jones, 48, Altus, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Broughton officiating. Alvin Don Jones was born to Charles Ray and Hattie Lou (Jones) Walker on December 14, 1961 in Frederick, Oklahoma and passed away on November 19, 2010. He attended the Macedonia Baptist Church and was a man of few words and a lot of love for those dear to him. His wittiness and unique sense of humor could warm and cheer any heart. Additionally, he was a skilled carpenter and thoroughly enjoyed it as well as caring for his daughters and spending time with close friends and family. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed. His father, a sister, Cathy Jones, and a nephew, Andrew Dewayne Jones, preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters, which he affectionately referred to as his collection, Nicole White of Lewisville, Texas, and Ava and Maijailai Jones, both of Altus, Oklahoma; his mother, Hattie Ray of Altus, Oklahoma; six brothers and sisters, Dennis Griffin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Taft Jones of Altus, Oklahoma, Wanda Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Marilyn Williams of Altus, Oklahoma, Laquita Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Marvin Jones and wife, Lavetta, of Altus, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and beloved friends.
