Amy Jeannette Nucci, 31, Altus, now rests in the arms of our Lord. Amy passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Kincannon Funeral Home with Erin Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
Amy was born December 29, 1981 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was under her mother’s care at home her entire life. Amy attended Altus Public Schools as a special needs child from K-12th grade. She was of the Baptist faith, adored visiting with family and friends, loved coloring, working puzzles and listening to music. Special thanks to her many caregivers who helped her family take excellent care of her over the years.
Amy was preceded in death by two uncles, Jimmy Wallace and Michael Lewis.
She is survived by her parents, Bill and Michelle Lewis; a sister, Lindsey Ballard and husband, Lynn, of Lawton, OK; a brother, Ryan Lewis and wife, Mindy, of Lawton, OK; grandparents, Dawnie and Ricky Aldrete of TX, William and Pat Lewis of Altus, OK, and F.C. and Ann Wallace of Alvin, TX; aunts, Jeanne Brandon and husband, Steve, of Altus, OK, Marsha Brewer and husband, Ricky, of Altus, OK; an uncle, Alan Wallace and wife, Kathy, of Iowa Colony, TX; cousins, Heather Hill of Altus, OK, Heath Hill and Emily Slaton of Altus, OK, Lee Ann Wallace, Michelle and Jantz Bain of Altus, OK, Chris and Banner Brewer of Altus, OK, and Michael and Katy Lewis of Columbia, MO; nieces and nephews, Madison and Brooke Ballard and Rylan Lewis of Lawton, OK; as well many other family and friends.
The Lewis family will welcome friends on behalf of Amy on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kincannon Funeral Home.
