Antonio V. Maldonado, Sr.

Antonio V. Maldonado, Sr., 76, Altus, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Salvadore Maldonado officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Antonio was born August 10, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Juan and Angelita (Villarreal) Maldonado. He married Gloria Solomon in 1970 in Martha, Oklahoma. Mr. Maldonado was a concrete finisher most of his adult life. He enjoyed watching football and western movies, fishing, spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.

Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Angelita Maldonado; his wife, Gloria Maldonado; a son, Antonio Maldonado, Jr; two brothers, Frank and Castulo Maldonado; and two sisters, Guadalupe Maldonado and Tules Zavala.

He is survived by four daughters, Rachel Maldonado and fiancé, Kevin Polk; Erica Maldonado; Lina Molina and husband, Eloy Molina, Jr.; Sonia Garcia and husband, Ricardo; son, Billy Maldonado and wife, Joy; a brother, Cruz Maldonado; a sister, Juanita Maldonado Abrego; fourteen grandchildren, Jonathon, Roiqusia and Emmanuelle Maldonado, Nico Maldonado, Vanessa Molina, Aundreah Maldonado, Khloe Scott, Michael, Daniel and Felicia Ornelas, Alex, Sierra, Sophia and Joey Garcia, Anthony, Kymberley and Damian Maldonado; five great grandchildren and many friends.

The Maldonado family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
