Arlie “Doyle” Davis, 79, Blair, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Reverend Carl Page, Reverend Thomas Smith, Reverend David Alley, Reverend Paul Heard and Reverend Paul Wiley officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Arlie Doyle Davis was born January 1, 1932 to Arlie Coin and Artie Mary (Mayfield) Davis at Milfay, OK. He attended school in Riverbank, California. He married Betty June Burkett on December 31, 1948 at Modesto, CA. Doyle was a minister for 53 years and supplemented his income by installing floor covering. He attended the Blair House of Prayer. He was a volunteer fireman, an EMT, a private pilot, and was involved with the Blair Civil Defense. Mr. Davis enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing dominoes, putt-putt golf and especially enjoyed giving children quarters. He loved his family dearly. Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty, and two sisters, Dortha Schultz and Oleta Allmond. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Smith of Sperry, OK; three sons, Lonny Davis and wife, Violet, of Thompson Falls, MT, Raymond Davis and wife, Annie, of Dunnellon, FL, and Dennis Davis and wife, Crickett, of Blair, OK; one brother, Rev. Jay Davis and wife, Donna, of Escalon, CA; eleven grandchildren, Jason Davis of Riverbank, CA, Shawna Thornton and husband, Jason, of Thompson, Falls, MT, Tanya Dauer and husband, Ronnie, of Coweta, OK, Dawn Burnett of Blair, OK, James Froelich and wife, Kristie, of Salida, CA, Alton Davis and wife, Sheila, of Frederick, OK, Denny Davis and wife, Krysti, of Blair, OK, Dustin Smith of Sperry, OK, Ashley Smith of Sperry, OK, Beth Hughes of Tulsa, OK, and Deborah Baucom of Edmond, OK; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The Davis family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Kincannon Funeral Home.
