Aurora Villarreal Maldonado

Aurora Villarreal Maldonado, 84, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Brother Freddy Reyes officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
Aurora Villarreal was born October 3, 1931 in Tivoli, Texas to Arturo and Juanita (Sanchez) Villarreal. She attended school in Tivoli, Texas and married Frank Maldonado on December 12, 1951 in Robstown, Texas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family, attending church, sewing, quilting, making tamales, visiting with friends and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Maldonado, her parents, Arturo and Juanita Villarreal and her stepmother, Fidela Villarreal; daughter, Rose Mary Maldonado; son, Freddie Maldonado; grandson, Frank Ray Maldonado; granddaughter, Renee Veronica Gallardo; and her brother, Salvador Villarreal.
She is survived by three daughters, Odelia Gallardo and husband, Ben, Rosa Ann Gonzales and husband, Roy, and Molly Riemer; daughter-in-law, Norma Maldonado; four sons, Frank Maldonado and wife, Juanita, Danny Maldonado and wife, Deanna, Leo Maldonado and wife, Molly, and Johnny Maldonado and wife, Carla; sister, Emilia Garza; eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and many friends.
The Maldonado Family will hold a Wake service at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at Kincannon Funeral Home.
