Betty Lou Garrido

Betty Lou Garrido, 29, Lawton, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Betty Lou Garrido was born on December 7, 1983 to Natividad and Esther (Villegas) Garrido in Altus, Oklahoma. She attended Altus High School, Western Oklahoma State College and the Southwest Technology Center. Betty was very compassionate and loved taking care of her family. Betty is preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Adriana Garrido, maternal grandfather, Feliciano Villegas, and a paternal grandfather, J. Rosario Garrido. She is survived by her husband, Randy Ruth, of the home; two daughters, Tatiana Isabelle Ruth and Alannah Nicole Ruth, both of the home; one son, Alonso Antonio Pease, of the home; her parents, Natividad and Esther Garrido of Altus, OK; maternal grandmother, Maria Prisca Camarillo of Altus, OK; paternal grandmother, Maria R. Perez-Mendez of Altus, OK; two brothers, Alejandro Garrido and wife, Rosario Saldivar, of Altus, OK, and Mario Garrido and wife, Melissa Benabamonde, of Altus, OK; as well as many other family members and friends. A Rosary will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
