Bill James Suskie, 61, Blair, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his home. Memorial services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Roger Allen officiating. Services and cremation have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Bill James Suskie was born on August 5, 1958 to William Lawrence and Elizabeth "Betty" (Wilkins) Suskie in Los Angeles, California. Bill served his country in the United States Army from January 21, 1977 to February 7, 1980. He owned and operated Suskie Carpentry for over 30 years and worked as the Head Custodian for the Olustee School. Bill and Janet Cox were united in marriage on June 1, 2013 in Mangum, OK. He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and making people happy. Bill was an honest, hard working, easy going man who looked for the best in everyone. His generosity and kindness touched many lives. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, while trying to remain in the background. While we already miss him tremendously, I've no doubt that he was welcomed into the presence of our Lord Jesus, with the words, "welcome home, my good and faithful servant."
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bill James Suskie, Jr.; a granddaughter, Jaslyn Ray Moncada; and a grandson, J. Kyle Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; daughters, Mary Muth, Crystal Ulbright and husband, Jared, and Elizabeth Moncada and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua, Gabby and Olivia; and his siblings, Robert Suskie and wife, Sandra, Linda Suskie and Anthony, Patricia Morse and husband, Kenneth, Katherine Suskie and Tom Cox, and Tammy Romanofsky and husband, Mark.
