Birdie Faye Laws, 79, Altus, passed away, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Funeral services have been scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2014. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Birdie was born March 13, 1935 to Joe and Jeweline (Davis) Sango in Waggoner, Oklahoma. Birdie was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Birdie is preceded in death by both parents; one daughter, Velma Joyce Laws; two sons, Robert Lee Laws and James Henry Laws; and one great-grandson, Jose’ Devon Williams. She leaves behind two daughters, Sandra Lee Powell of Killeen, TX and Cathy Mae Valentine of Lawton, OK; four sons, Billy Dean Laws and wife Macharell of AR, Joe Wayne Laws and wife Janet of Altus, OK, Ralph Eugene Laws of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jessie Ray Laws of Lawton, OK; seventeen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Best Western to the South or Western Sizzlin’ to the North.
