Blaze Scott Speer was born Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Michael and Randi (Pennington) Speer of Altus, Oklahoma. He went to Heaven Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the O U Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2014 at Kincannon Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Blaze is preceded in death by his grandfather, Greg Speer; great grandparents, “Smokey” Speer, J.C. and Merna Pennington; great great grandparents, Winna Workman and Belle Walters. Blaze is survived by his parents; his sister, Brayln; grandparents, Jennifer Speer of Altus, OK, Denise Ladd of Blair, OK and Randall Pennington of Oklahoma City, OK; great grandparents, Gayle and Jim Eakins of Lehigh, OK, Karen Griffee of Altus, OK; James and Janice Hayes of Tulsa, OK and Kenneth and Jeanetta Ladd of Blair, OK; great great grandfather, Jack Workman of Lehigh, OK; uncles, Matthew Speer and Jayden Speer; uncle and aunt, Justyn and Kristi Pennington of Blair, Oklahoma; and several other cousins and relatives.
