Bobbie West, 72, Altus, passed away, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Brother John Skinner and Brother R.C. Cathey officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Bobbie Jo Williams was born May 24, 1940 to Johnny and Corine (Clayton) Williams in Altus, Oklahoma. She attended school at the Lincoln High School, where she served as a majorette. After graduation, she attended some college. She married Nathaniel Jenkins in 1958. She then married Clyde Morgan in 1963. She was a teacher’s aide at the Lincoln Head Start Center for fifteen years until her retirement. She married Bobby West, Sr. in September of 1987. She later went on to work as a caregiver in home health. She was a member of the Pecan Street Church of Christ in Altus. She enjoyed life, especially fishing; singing; helping out at church and going to garage sales. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Nathaniel Jenkins and Clyde Morgan, a brother, Robert Williams, a great-grandson, David DeAndre Robinson, and a step granddaughter, Michelle Broughton. She is survived by her husband, Bobby West, Sr. of Altus, OK; three daughters, Nita Shepherd and husband, Jeffery, Nadine Broughton, Marcia Streater and husband, Juan, all of Altus, OK; three sons, Nay Jenkins and wife, Nadine, and Randy Morgan, all of Altus, and Lanny Morgan of Oklahoma City, OK; two stepchildren, Christy West of Oklahoma City, OK and Bobby West, Jr., of Midwest City, OK; twenty seven grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; a special friend, Ervin Crowder of Altus, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives. The West family will receive friends from 6pm to 7 pm Friday evening at the Kincannon Gathering Room.
