Brandon Kyle Hollenbeck

Brandon Kyle Hollenbeck, 22, Altus, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Brandon was born on January 12, 1989 in Livingston, Texas. He attended school in Cold Springs, Texas and graduated from Altus High School in 2007. He worked for Halliburton for two years as a fracture truck driver and was currently working for Cudd Oil in Elk City, Oklahoma. Brandon was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, music, watching television and texting friends. His father, Terry Hollenbeck, paternal grandfather, Melvin Stevens, maternal grandparents, Claude and Bertha Underwood, an uncle, Odas Underwood, and an aunt, Ruby Kollman, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Sybil Hollenbeck of the home; two sisters, April Darby and her husband, Troy, of Waco, Texas, and Janice Hollenbeck of Salt Lake City, Utah; his paternal grandmother, Fern Stevens of Riverton, Wyoming; and two nephews, Caden and Chase Darby. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Kincannon Funeral Home.
