Brenda Joyce LaBeth, 74, of Tipton, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Altus, OK. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Brenda Hayslip LaBeth “Half-pint” was born September 16, 1948 to Henry Hayslip and Viola Morgan in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated high school in 1966. Brenda married Donald L. LaBeth on August 3, 1979 in Houston, TX. From this union of forty-two-years they were given two loving daughters, Glenna and Andria.
Brenda worked as an office manager at Oklahoma Optical for twenty years and later, she worked for David Huey at Altus Eye Care for ten years. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and secretary of many leagues. Brenda enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family, walking her canine companion, Tojo, and pestering her husband, whom she loved dearly.
Those left to honor Brenda’s memory are her husband, Donald LaBeth of Tipton, OK; two daughters, Glenna Walker Wood and husband, Victor of Ennis, TX, Andria Franco, and husband, John of Vernon, TX; seven grandchildren, Cody Hagerman of Vernon, TX, Chance Hagerman, and wife, Victoria of FT. Worth, TX, Justin Hagerman, and wife Mariah of Roy, UT, Zachary Hardin, Logan Hardin, McKenzie Hardin and Averyauna Harding of Ennis, TX. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gene and Jerry Hayslip, and two sisters, Betty White and Almeda Bonness.
