Carl Bryer

Carl Bryer, 87, Eldorado, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 15, 2019. A viewing will be held starting Monday afternoon, August 19, 2019, and all day on Tuesday at the Kincannon Eldorado Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Kincannon Eldorado Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Carl was born on May 2, 1932 to Charlie and Francis Lou (Jackson) Bryer in Solomon, Kansas. Carl and Margrett Merrick were united in marriage on June 27, 1955 in Wellington, Kansas. To this union eight children were born. Carl and Margrett moved to Eldorado in 1977 and there they raised their children and continued to live until his death. Carl was a farm laborer his entire life and enjoyed fishing.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Manuel and Arthur; and sister, Katherine.

He leaves behind his wife of the home; eight children, Carl Bryer and wife, Caye, and their children, Christopher, Seth, Levi, Amanda, Rachel, Bradley and Morgan; Debbie Bryer and her son, Christopher; Ryannan Hickman and husband, Jim, and their daughter, Jessica; Richard Bryer and wife, Melody, and their children, Christa, Cody and Anthony; Ted Bryer and wife, Vicki, and their children, Brennon, Ashley and Alexis; Brand Bryer and wife, Tessa, and their children, Destinee, Fayth and Hope; Brett Bryer and wife, Melanie, and their children, Lakyn, Katelyn, Braeden and Makarah; and Merrick Bryan and husband, Keith, and their son, Race; and 22 great grandchildren and one on the way.
