Caroll Lynn (Waldroop) Robbins, 84, formerly of Altus, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 in Weatherford, Texas. The family will host a visitation at 1:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2022 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2:00 PM with Daniel Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the Navajo Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Caroll Lynn Waldroop was born on January 5, 1938 in Headrick, Oklahoma to Austin Franklin and Ellen Jo (Cole) Waldroop. She grew up in the Headrick area and graduated from Friendship High School. She married John Tahsuda, Jr. soon after high school and had 3 daughters, Johnna, Christie and Jo Lynn. After their divorce, she worked several years in New Mexico. She returned to Oklahoma and married Ronald Robbins in 1976. Caroll worked in the banking industry for most of her life and retired from First National Bank in Altus. Caroll was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, reading, working puzzles on her phone, watching NBA basketball and QVC. She particularly loved spending time with her family, especially her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and sister, Sue Lewis.
Survivors include her children, Johnna Tahsuda Jack, Dr. Christie Snow and husband, J Frank Snow, Jr., and Jo Lynn Tahsuda; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sibling, Austin Raleigh Waldroop of Altus; a brother-in-law, William “Bill” Lewis of Las Animas, CO; and many nieces, nephews, great nephews, other family members and friends.
