Carroll W. Harvick, 85, formerly of Eldorado, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his daughter's home in Amelia, Ohio. Memorial services for Mr. Harvick will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Life Journey Church in Cement, Oklahoma, 211 N. "C" Avenue, with Pastor Raymond McPherson officiating. Inurnment of the cremated remains will follow services in the Eldorado Cemetery. Cremation services were entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Altus, Oklahoma.
Carroll Wesley Harvick was born July 20, 1934 to Walter Dee and Vera May (McPherson) Harvick in Eldorado, Oklahoma. He graduated from Altus High School with the class of 1953. Carroll and Fanny Elizabeth Smith were united in marriage on December 25, 1996. He was a construction foreman in Civil Service starting at Altus Air Force Base, Altus, Oklahoma; then, Naval Station Bremerton, Bremerton, Washington and later at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Fresno, California, until his retirement in 1994 . He enjoyed traveling and going camping.
Carroll is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Walter Loranza Harvick. He leaves behind his wife, Fanny, of the home; daughter, Debra Harvick and a son, Wesley Keith Harvick and wife, Rose; five grandchildren, Mindy Gonzales and husband, Gilbert; Elisha Vieira and husband, Jeffry; Nicole Gonzalez and husband, Abel; Ilea Dugger and RJ Bushey; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Miriam Mitchell and husband, Gary; two nephews, Bryan Mitchell and wife, Dana; Scott Mitchell and wife, Tara; seven great nieces and nephews
