Carroll A. Taylor, 84, Duke, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services with Air Force Honors will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Duke Church of Christ with Jack Moore officiating. A private family interment will follow at the Rock Cemetery, Duke, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Carroll A. Taylor was born on April 24, 1937 in Paonia, Colorado to James M. and Naomi M. (Henney) Taylor. He grew up in Los Angeles, California. After high school, Carroll joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for the next 23 years. He was stationed at Altus Air Force Base in 1976, where he retired. Carroll met and married Margaret Harrod in 1979 in Altus. Carroll had been a member of the Duke Church of Christ since 1987 and faithfully served as the song leader until 2020.

His parents, James and Naomi; and one brother, James O. Taylor preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of the home; five children, Stephanie Zucker of Tampa, FL, Steve Taylor and wife, Diane, of Lake Helen, FL, David Harrod and wife, Cheryl, and Roger Harrod and wife, Lori, all of Duke, OK, and Nichole Rouse and husband, Chris, of Hayden, Idaho; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members, church family and friends.
