Celestina “Tina” Grace Lopez Smith, 73, Eldorado, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas after a very lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Manning, Pastor, and Rev. Mark Farr officiating. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Tina was born on September 6, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lopez. She worked as a registered nurse in Illinois, Texas and Oklahoma. She was a very active member of the Corinth Baptist Church and loved to play bunko there. She was a very outgoing person and loved helping people. She loved her shopping sprees and visiting with family and friends. Her parents and husband, C.L. Smith, II, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons including Lionel “J.B” Brashares and his wife, Frances, of Peotone, Illinois; a daughter, Deborah Singer of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister and brother-in-law, Consuelo Stead and her husband, Gary, of Shelby, Ohio; nine grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a Goddaughter. Along with her family and friends, those that will miss her greatly are her sister-in-law, Leta Rue Smith Perkins and her husband, James, and three nieces, Melody Perkins Westbrook and Lynette Perkins Helms, both of Montgomery, Alabama, and Gaye Perkins Parnell of Niceville, Florida.
