Charles E. “Charlie” Andersen, 72, Headrick, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services with military honors are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2020 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Irions officiating. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Charlie was born on April 10, 1948 in Fort Meade, Maryland to Vernon Eugene and Rose Marie (McKenzie) Andersen. He graduated high school and entered the United States Air Force. Charlie served for over 20 years and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. While in the Air Force he attained his Associates Degree in Human Resources. Charlie worked for civil service as a flight engineer at Altus Air Force Base. He married Robin Ogle on February 14, 2011 in Vernon, Texas. Charlie enjoyed collecting cars and helping anyone in need. He was an ornery fellow and will be missed by many.
His parents and wife preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristian Grace and Cynthia Andersen; a son, John Mulford and wife, Carla; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four siblings, Bob Andersen, Marjorie Miller and husband, Dale, Michele Gulley and husband, Berry, and Scott Andersen and wife, Esther; and many other family members and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be sent to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
