Charles Ray Lawson, 49, Roosevelt, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Roosevelt. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in the Navajoe Cemetery Northeast of Altus, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
Charles Ray Lawson was born January 25, 1966 to Floyd and Lillie Lou (Stowe) Lawson in Durant, OK. He grew up in southeast Oklahoma in the Albany area. Charles was an automotive mechanic who enjoyed working on cars; hunting and fishing; guns; and studying the Native American culture. He was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Floyd Lawson. He is survived by two daughters, Golden Carter and husband, Matthew, and Josephine Lawson; five sons, Floyd Lawson, Charles Lane Lawson, Jesse Keenum, Stanley Allen White and Matthew White; four sisters, Joyce, Brenda, Linda and Donna; one brother, Curtis Lawson, and many friends.
