Charlotte Maxine Morris (Knox), 65, Altus, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Navajoe Cemetery with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Charlotte was born on February 8, 1951 in Altus, Oklahoma to Paul Marvin and Elmer Maxine (Pottorff) Morris. She worked as a beautician and for many years was the bookkeeper for United Supermarkets. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Charlotte also loved to cook and bake, especially with her grandchildren and for her Christmas parties.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Marvin, Garoldie and Pat.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Knox and wife, Karen; a daughter, Tisha Knox; seven grandchildren, Andrea, Dessirea, Kendra, Ethan, Bailey, James and Rachel; a sister, Reta Roden and husband, David; a sister-in-law, Millie Morris; her mother-in-law, Laveta Knox; two nephews, John and Elmer Morris; and four nieces, Renae Furness, Lisa Boswell, Tina Brooks and Chrissy Hughes.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
