Charlyn Sue Carrell

July 30, 1941 — December 13, 2016

Charlyn Sue Carrell, 75, Olustee, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2016 in the Olustee Cemetery with Debbie Kulbeth and Paul Brown officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Charlyn Sue Drury was born on July 30, 1941 in Olustee, Oklahoma to Lester and Eva (Hestand) Drury. She lived most of her life in Olustee and graduated from Olustee High School. On December 20, 1958 Charlyn married the love of her life, Carlos Carrell. To this long relationship, three loving kids were born, Cindy, Cheryl and Cary.

Charlyn worked at Kellwood's and the USDA Cotton Division, where she retired. She loved her children dearly and rarely missed a basketball or baseball game. She was one of her kids' biggest cheerleaders at their Playdays and Playday finals.

Charlyn was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a grandson, Anthony Allen Sheehan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carlos Carrell; three children, Cindy Moellering and husband, Carlos, Cheryl Harrod and husband, David, and Cary Carrell and Marian; five grandchildren, Amber Moore and husband, Tommy, Chesiree Puckett and husband, Brandon, Cara Miller and husband, Barret, Tommy Moellering and Courtney, and Samantha Moellering; 13 great grandchildren, Anthony, Kayden and Landon Moore, Conner, Makenzie, Rylee, Makilynn and Keaton Puckett, Tucker Moellering, Jason, Lily and Dakota Card, and Dixie Snyder; a brother, Jerry Drury and wife, Jan; a brother-in-law, Cotton Carrell; two sisters-in-law, Trena Jones and Sue Burnett; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mom has given us a great life filled with precious memories. The last few weeks have been filled with joy, hope, laughter and tears. Our family bond is broken but we will continue to carry on as a family with love and all the traditions she instilled in us. Because above all else, she taught us "family comes first!"

The family will receive friends after the service at the Carrell home in Olustee.
