Chloetta Allison, 87, Hollis, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Harmon Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Altom officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Chloetta Hooks was born on May 20, 1935 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Charles “Chock” and Evelyn (Massey) Hooks. She grew up in Hollis and attended Hollis Schools. Chloetta married Jimmy Allison on January 19, 1952 in Wellington, Texas. Chloetta attended Cameron State College and studied dietary management. Through the years she worked at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Harmon County Memorial Hospital and Westview Boy's Home. She retired in 1997. Chloetta was a member of the First United Methodist Church for many years at Gould and later at Hollis. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jimmy, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend, and she will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter, Pam Hubanks, a son-in-law, Charles Paxton; two granddaughters, Dee Dee Jackson and Kenzie Horton; a sister, Odessa Burns; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Allison.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Lane and husband, Mike, Jeri Paxton, and Sheri White and husband, Brent; eight grandchildren, Kristi Horton and husband, Scott, Aaron Paxton and wife, Katie, Willie Brown, Jimmy Dale Lane, Cortney Maricle and husband, Jason, Lyndsey Hubanks and husband, Charlie, Sammy Hubanks, and Charlie Clement; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Jane Ann Baker; and two brothers-in-law, Lemuel Allison and wife, Barbara and Bobby Allison and wife, Betty; her faithful canine friend, Barclay, and a host of other family and friends.
