Christina Lynn Hatch, 73, Altus, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Cremation has been provided by Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Christina Lynn Jokela was born March 26, 1946 in Astoria, Oregon to Levi and Maxine (Dudley) Jokela. She graduated with the Tustin High School Class of 1964 in Tustin, California. Christina married Lorrel Ray Hatch August 23, 1965 in Barstow, California. To this union two children were born. Mr. Hatch preceded her in death on May 28, 2011. Christina worked 36 years in civil service at the United States Marine Corps Base in Barstow, California as a Systems Analyst Supervisor before retiring in 2002. Christina married James Champlin on November 1, 2019 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed sewing, quilting, online games and casino slot machines.
Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Maxine Jokela; and her husband, Lorrel Ray Hatch. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Sapp and husband, Jon; her son, Darrel Hatch; two sisters, Terry Tillet; Nancy Krambule and husband, D'Orr; two grandchildren, Jason Sapp and wife, Allie; Eric Sapp and wife, Haile; three great grandchildren, Hunter, Brylee and Zelda; and many friends.
