Christina Ranae Ortega, 32, Altus, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Plantation Village Nursing Home. Rosary services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Kincannon Funeral Home with Deacon Juan Bustamante officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Bishop Joe Vasquez officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Christina was born on March 29, 1982 to Carolyn (Ortega) Zamora in Altus, Oklahoma. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Louis and Adelina (Vasquez) Ortega. Christina attended Altus Public Schools and graduated from Altus High School in 2000. Christina loved listening to music, sitting outside with her grandparents and watching movies. She liked her aunt’s dogs and was a big OU fan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and the daily trips to Walmart. She leaves behind her mother, Carolyn Zamora of Vernon, TX; grandparents, Louis and Adelina (Vasquez) Ortega of Altus, OK; a brother, Christopher Zamora of Vernon, TX; two sisters, Jessica Zamora of Vernon, TX and Karina Zamora of Arlington, TX; uncles, Edward Ortega of Wichita Fall, TX; Danny Ortega and wife, Jeanette, of Euless, TX; and Louis Ortega, Jr. of Altus, OK; aunts, Dora Villeda and husband, Felix, of Vernon, TX, Donna Gutierrez and husband, Joe, of Tipton, OK, Janie Garcia and husband, Rudy, of San Antonio, TX; and Mary O. Esparza of Altus, OK.
