Cindy Lou McKenzie, 60, Mesquite, Nevada, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 30th at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Memorial arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Cindy Lou Killian was born on December 13, 1961 in Altus, Oklahoma to Edmond Kenneth Killian and Joy Beth Beven. She grew up in Altus where she attended school and later married her high school sweetheart, Keith Selby in 1982, in Altus. They moved to Tulsa and welcomed their son, Jason, into the world; two years later they welcomed another son, John. Cindy worked as a health care provider, later in the medical billing and coding office at St. Francis in Tulsa. Cindy loved being a mother, but she really loved being a grandma “Nana” to her three grandchildren. She enjoyed karaoke with Scooby. Cindy was the kind of person that was there for anyone, anytime. She will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Joy Beth; and sister-in-law, Audrey Killian. Those left to honor Cindy’s memory are sons, Jason and wife, Nikki Selby of Tulsa, OK and John Selby of Nevada; grandchildren, Starla Selby of Hobart, OK, Trevin Selby of Tulsa, OK, and Bentley Selby of Tulsa, OK; stepfather, Paul Bevan of Ohio; brothers, Kenny Bates of Duncan, OK, Tim Killian of South Dakota, and Max and wife, Cindy Killian of Duncan, OK; nieces, Lisa, April, Katy, and Natasha; nephews, Justin, Dustin, and Kevin; and many other family and friends.
