Claudia May Allen

Claudia May Allen, 85, Altus, went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 2, 2011 at her home. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Addington Cemetery in Addington, OK with Beverly Kirby officiating under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Claudia was born to Joe S. and Beulah L. (Pope) Shadrick on November 29, 1925 in Slick, OK. She married Charles Edwin Allen on June 19, 1944 in Modesto, CA. Charles passed away on September 2, 1999. Claudia attended Capitol Hill High School. She was a homemaker, loved traveling, going on bus tours, and her family. She was a member of the T.O.P.S. Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Michael Pettijohn; 2 grandsons, Brandon Pettijohn & Jeremy Allen; sister, Betty Jo Rogers; and a brother, John Wesley Shadrick. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Pettijohn of Altus, OK; Linda Ray Allen of Midwest City, OK; Sandra Faulk and husband Rick, of Edmond, OK; and one son, Charles Edwin (Charlie) Allen, Jr, of Midwest City, OK and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
