Cleta Joyce Fraley McIntyre, 77, Altus, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 18, 2015. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Burkhardt Chapel in the Frederick Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Frederick Cemetery under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home. Cleta Joyce Meeks was born to Joseph Earl and Mallie I. Vera (Seay) Meeks on September 11, 1937 in Frederick, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Weaver High School. She excelled at playing basketball. Cleta worked at Coy's Food Store for many years in Frederick. She later became manager for Perkins Timberlake Clothing Store. Her final and most rewarding job was that of homemaker. Cleta was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and worked in any area of the church where she was needed. Cleta had a love for cats and took care of many over the course of her life. Cleta is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Vera Meeks; father of her children, Norman Fraley; second husband, Wayne McIntyre; two brothers, Donald Wayne Meeks and James Earl Meeks; two sisters, Helen McLaughlin and Betty Henry; and five step siblings, Miram Nowlin, Edna Mae Dewberry, Lester Meeks, Chester Meeks and Monroe Meeks. She is survived by her sons, Mike Fraley and Greg Fraley; two daughters, Denise Fraley Hobbs and Dena Fraley; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six sisters, Roma Scott, Virginia Allen, Lynda Prater, Shirley Chisum, Roberta Perry and Becky Dugan; and two brothers, Jimmy Meeks and Danny Meeks. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. Viewing will be at the Kincannon Funeral Home in Altus, all day Wednesday and Thursday morning.
