Clint William Bowen, 63, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home. A celebration of life will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Headrick with Pastor Billy Irions officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Clint William Bowen was born on May 19, 1959 in Altus to Dwane and Mary (Dark) Bowen. He grew up in Altus and graduated from Altus High School with the Class of 1977. Clint worked several jobs, including the oil fields, Bar-S, and the City of Altus, before God led him to be the maintenance man at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Clint married Michelle Wittmer on March 26, 1982 in Vernon, Texas. She preceded him in death in 2011. He was very knowledgeable and gave good advice. Clint enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and fishing, and hanging out with friends over the barbecue. He loved serving the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Headrick. Some of his most cherished memories came from spending time with his grandson, Adrian.
He was preceded in death by his wife; father; a grandson, Annex; a brother, Terry Bowen; and many other loved ones.
Survivors include his two daughters, Amanda Bowen and fiancé, Jacob Yates, and Angela Rencher and husband, Glen; four grandchildren, Slade, Kaydence, Adrian, and Jordan; his mother, Mary Bowen; and many other loving family members and friends.
