Darrell Darnell Naff

Darrell Darnell Naff was born to Ester Brannon in Cushing, Oklahoma on May 18, 1966, where he resided during his formative years and graduated from high school. He relocated to Altus in 1991 when his beloved mother passed away. Darrell made his home in Altus with his long-time partner, Yvonne Hawkey. 

Darrell loved to prepare meals for others. It did not matter if it was in his own kitchen or outdoor grill, or as an occupation, he had a gift of making superb food and bringing people together. He worked at Western Oklahoma State College for many years feeding the student body, faculty and community. He enjoyed working on old cars and always had a project going whether on paper or in his own garage. He enjoyed the simplistic activities of fishing and watching football with friends. Darrell passed from this life at his home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. 

His mother, Ester; and sister, Sheila Carter preceded him death. Those left to honor Darrell’s memory are his long-time partner, Yvonne; children, Danielle Ross, Lateesha Hamilton and husband, Fredrick, Dalayla Naff, Julian Ross, Darrell Carter, Donovan Naff, and Brandon McCluer; grandchildren, CJ, Kai, Markus, Elijah, Amari, Devon, Amalia, Kylan, Tanner, Talina, and Jurney; and a host of other family and friends.
