David Hernandez

David Hernandez formerly of Altus, Oklahoma, died October 11, 2022, at his home in Kansas City, Kansas. Per his wishes, his remains were cremated and placed near his father in their family plot at the Altus City Cemetery.
David was born on October 17,1964 in Altus, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Rebecca Hernandez. He graduated from Altus High School and was a proud member of the Altus Band during his school years and will be remembered for his love of playing the drums and cheering the Oklahoma Sooners. He worked for many years in the remodeling business and always stayed busy repairing and renovating old cars.
David was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin E. Hernandez, his grandfather, Luis G. Hernandez, and grandmother, Maria Hernandez.
David is survived by his mother, Rebecca Hernandez and children; his older brothers, Danny Hernandez of Pensacola, Florida and Jorge Hernandez and spouse Samantha Hernandez, and their daughters, Brianna and Haley, of Carrollton, Georgia. David also leaves behind many friends and will be greatly missed.
