David Shane Squires

David Shane "Squirl" Squires, 32, Altus, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow services under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

David Shane Squires was born on May 28, 1986 to Garnett and Joan (Bolton) Squires in Denver, Colorado. David and Carma Stephenson were united in marriage on April 20,2011 at the Quartz Mountain State Park. He was a cook at the Backdoor Steakhouse for nine years. He enjoyed playing video games, hiking, and reading. His favorite times were spent with his family and friends as well as his cats and very beloved dog, Dro.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Squires. He leaves behind his wife Carma, of the home; two sons, Devin and Charles Squires; father, Garnett Squires; siblings, Kathryn Roblez, Robert Pitts and wife, Sara, and Erick Livesay and wife, Aimee and their children; niece, Leigha Roblez; a nephew, Carl Pitts; best friend, Ben Watkins and wife, Shenoah; as well as a host of other family and friends.

The Squires family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Kincannon Gathering Room.

Memorial contributions may be made for the Squires family at the Midfirst Bank in Altus.
