David Wayne Wilkes

David Wayne Wilkes, 56, Altus, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home. Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father David Joseph officiating. Memorial services and cremation were entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

David was born July 18, 1963 to William L. and Kathleen L. (Talbot) Wilkes in Merced, California. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance. David and Kelli Farquhar were united in marriage on August 11, 2019. He was manager and district manager at several restaurants including Apple Industries, Don Pablos and Tony Romas. David was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, watching OU football, traveling, playing golf and target practice.

David is preceded in death by his father, Bill. He leaves behind his wife, Kelli; mother, Kay Wilkes; daughters Tavia and Kiera Wilkes; son, David W. Wilkes, Jr.; brothers, Charles T. Wilkes and wife, Cathy; Richard W. Wilkes and wife, Paula; his sister, Christina Faye Walton and husband, David; his nephew, Steven Wilkes; four nieces, Rachel Wilkes, Miranda Wilkes, Kaitlyn Wilkes and Laura Walton; his stepsons, Arron Johnson and his fiancee, Brianna Hilt, and her son, Sawyer; and Nathan Helm and his wife, Brittanie, and their girls, Charlie and Emma; and many friends.
