De Wayne Jones, Sr, 58, Altus, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Kincannon Funeral Home with David Bost officiating.
De Jones was born June 5, 1959 in Altus, Oklahoma to Ancil Carruthers and Ethel Louise Jones. He attended Altus Public Schools and began a lifelong mission of service to his community and friends. De had worked at Jackson County Memorial Hospital transporting patients and also as a Certified Nurses Assistant. He and Lois Gipson were married January 14, 1995 in Vernon, Texas. De drove a bus for the Altus Public School for several years and later, was a trucker for Bates Brothers Farms for many years. De provided encouragement to others through his own life's experiences and his ministry. He was pastor at Deliverance Temple for several years, guiding others to Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ancil Carruthers; Aunt Retta Mae Jones and grandson, Malcom S.Augustine.
Survivors include his wife, Lois, of the home; mother, Ethel L. Jones; sons, Jerome Robinson, De'Angelo Augustine, Christopher Gipson, Joshua Jones, Quincy Jones, De Jones Jr, Brandon Gipson, and Kenny Frazier; daughters, Jaquettea Augustine, Amanda Gipson and Kellye Gipson; 26 grandchildren and many friends.

Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Days Inn to the South and Western Sizzlin' to the North.
