Delores R. Stickney, 75, Blair, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donald Altom officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Delores Rocha was born on January 11, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ramon and Juanita (Morales) Rocha. She married Leslie Stickney on July 6, 1998 in Vernon, Texas. She was a former member of the Hess Baptist Church and was currently a member of the Blair First Baptist Church. Delores served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible school teacher for many years. She worked for Hensley's Greenhouse for more than 20 years. Delores was a member of the Oklahoma Home and Community Education where she served as Secretary and was awarded the Hearts Award. She was also active in the Women's Missionary Union and was vital to the community during the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Delores enjoyed fishing, drives to the lake and country, gardening and her daily Bible reading. Her greatest love was her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Juanita Rocha, husband, Leslie Stickney, and three brothers, Vernon, Peter and Robert Rocha.
Survivors include five daughters, Myra Combs, Betty Miller, Anita Olivarez and husband, Ramiro, Patty Scott and husband, Tyrone, and Cathy Broderick and husband, Tom; three sons, Moses Saenz and wife, Kim, Manuel and Mark Saenz; 24 grandchildren, Misti Thompson, Chris, Matthew and Andrew Sanders, Ronnie Saenz, Shenoah Watkins, Savanna and Patrick Miller, Joseph Saenz, Desarae Williamson, Vanessa Flores, Casie Williamson, Victoria Lopez, Landon Williamson, Adam and Rick Olivarez, Cody and Dacota Cusher, Destiny Jasinski, Charlie Saenz, Chris Broderick, Jessica Lanie, Nichole Broderick and Troy Caston; 43 great grandchildren; four sisters, Patricia Lay and husband, Bill, Jenny McClendon, Yolanda Cooper and husband, Joe, and Linda Ruiz; three brothers, Raymond Rocha and wife, Lucy, John Rocha and wife, Nancy, and Manuel Rocha; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
