Eldorado

Dorothy Jo Crozier, lifetime resident of Eldorado, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, just 38 days shy of her 100th birthday. Dorothy Jo was born on April 2, 1925, to James Wilford “J.W.” and Effie Mae (Freeman) Richeson near Eldorado. Dorothy grew up in the Eldorado area and graduated from Lewis Hill School in 1943. Polk and Dorothy raised four children in the Eldorado area and farmed together for 50 years. In addition to helping her husband farm, Dorothy also worked for the boat shop, the sewing factory, and later for Eldorado Public Schools until she retired. Dorothy was a faithful member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church for over 70 years.

She and her husband Polk, along with their children, cherished spending time with the Story and Adams families, and many other close friends and family.
