Dustin Shane Mitchell, 46, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at his home. Graveside service will be Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Blair Cemetery with Pastor Tyler McDowell officiating. Burial will be under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Dustin Shane Mitchell, the son of Mark and Donita (Jones) Beers and the late Kerry Mitchell, was born on March 28, 1976, in Altus, Oklahoma. He grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School with the class of 1994. Dustin went on to graduate from the Tulsa Welding School in the top 1 percent of his class and was classified as a Master Welder. He established his own business, Arrow Home Setters, in Amarillo, Texas. He eventually returned to Blair where he served a host of people in many different capacities. He manufactured metal buildings, was the director of maintenance for a local hotel, and owned and operated Slick Enterprises. Dustin enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and memorabilia, refurbishing old cars, and fishing. He loved music, playing his guitar, and singing. Dustin traveled the entire United States with the exception of seven states. He loved rollercoasters, visiting amusement parks, and exploring museums. His daughter, Harley, was his world and he cherished every moment spent with her.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kerry Mitchell; and his grandparents, Casey and Darlene Jones, and Joe and Callie Beers.
Dustin is survived by his daughter, Harley Monroe; his parents, Mark and Donita Beers; two sisters, Krista Wall and husband, Shane, and Amy Abernathy and husband, Justin; nieces and nephews, Payton, Presley, Jaxon, Kason, Kenzie, Kreed, and Kolter; the mother of his daughter, Mandy Mitchell; and many other family members and a host of friends.
