Dusty D’Wayne Berry, 39, Altus, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2010 at Kincannon Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Dusty was born December 9, 1970 in Lubbock, Texas to Mike and Georgia “Chick” (Winegar) Berry. He graduated from Davidson High School, Davidson, Oklahoma in 1989 and had attended Western Oklahoma State College in Altus. He married Shannon Kendrix October 17, 1996. To this union two sons were born, Dee Cade and Dusty Chance. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Altus. Dusty worked at IFP bagging and Goetz Fibers and enjoyed working with his father in their business, B and B Cotton Transport. Dusty was just a big kid who loved to play with his sons. He loved to play golf, loved to visit and was huge Texas Tech fan. He valued his many friendships. Dusty is survived by his wife Shannon and their two sons, Dee Cade and Dusty Chance of Altus, OK; his parents, Mike and Chick Berry of Altus, OK; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, E.B. and Glenda Kendrix of Altus, OK; his sister and brother-in-law, Summer and Dantz Hall of Duke, OK; two sisters - in - law, Sharla and Jason Cook of Moore, OK, Stacy and Lonnie Scholl of Marlow, OK; four nieces, Aspen Hall, Celie Hall, Marleigh Cook, Julian Scholl; one nephew, Cole Cook; and his many friends. Pallbearers are Mike “FB” Stephens, Joe Buchanan, Tom Buchanan, Matt Mardis, Devin Hill, Von Woodress, Rod Vernon, Geoff Gray, Otoniel Solis, Butch Boyd, Mike Mitchell and Justin Landers.
