Earlene Pollard, 83, Altus, passed away on October 15, 2014 at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Apostle Marcus West officiating. Burial will follow at the Victory Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Earlene Pollard was born on March 2, 1931 in Altus, Oklahoma to Tom and Albennie (Wallace) Pollard. Earlene was an active member of the New Beginnings Full Gospel Ministries with a New Hope church. She was the Mother of the Church and helped out her pastors in many areas. She loved fishing and caring for people whenever she could. Ms. Pollard was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rhonda Fleming; and three brothers, Ernest Eugene Pollard, Roosevelt Cooper and James Pollard Earlene is survived by one daughter, Brenda Fleming Carruthers and husband, John, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one son, Alfred Fleming and wife, Carla, of Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers, Benny Pollard and wife, Laverne, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tom Pollard, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Sharon Grisby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Doris Rapley of Florida and Joy Edwards and husband, Curtis, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Shakema Lee of Lawton, Oklahoma, Damien Bush of San Antonio, Texas, Brandon Bush of Altus, Oklahoma, Ashley Bush of Altus, Oklahoma, Javon Fleming of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tre Carruthers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and two close friends, Ida Bea and Bishop Charlene Walker. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Beginnings Full Gospel Ministries with a New Hope.
