Edith Laverne Netherton, 92, Blair, OK, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 in Granbury, Texas. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ed Heflin officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Edith Laverne Hall was born on May 24, 1921 to Arthur B. and Jessie (McRae) Hall in Warren, Oklahoma. Edith lived one half mile from her birthplace. She graduated from Warren High School with the class of 1939. Edith and Finley N. Netherton were united in marriage on October 13, 1940 in Altus, OK. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Warren Baptist Church since 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Richard F. Netherton, two brothers, Loyd Hall and his wife, Geneva, and Floyd Hall and his wife, Elaine, both of Blair, OK, a sister, Myrtle Cupp and her husband, Edmond Cupp, of Blair, OK, and a brother-in law, George Perry of Blair, OK. Edith is survived by her daughter-in-law, Vivian Netherton, of Warren, OK; a son, John Phillip Netherton of Warren, OK; a daughter, Faith Clark and husband, Mark, of Granbury, TX; a sister, Mable Perry of Blair, OK; ten grandchildren, Ricky & Natalie Netherton, Tracy Nations, Kim McGuire, Parrish Netherton, Kade Netherton, Garret Netherton, Kyle Clark, and Blair and Waylon Pierce; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. All friends are welcome to attend the viewing at Kincannon Memorial Chapel scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
