Edward M. Gloria, 64, Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Strong Tower Church, 805 Martin Luther King Street, Altus, Oklahoma, with Pastor Paul Gloria officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Edward was born on October 13, 1948 in Alma, Michigan to Jose and Dominga (Martinez) Gloria. He attended Southside High School in Elmer, Oklahoma. Edward married his wife, Marreta, in Galveston, Texas. He worked for Alvie Allen at Altus Salvage for several years. Edward also worked on the farm for Lloyd Johnson for several years. He worked for other farmers over the years and had driven a truck for some time before retiring due to poor health. Edward was preceded in death by Ricardo Gloria, Florentino Gloria, Josephina G. Lindo, Maria G. Vega, Richard Gloria and Raymond Gloria. He is survived by his wife, Marreta, of the home; two brothers, Jesus and wife, Janie, Gloria, Paul and wife, Connie, Gloria; three sisters, Juanita and husband, Beto, Montalvo, Rosa and husband, Roberto, Trevino, and Erlinda Hernandez; first wife, Estella Gloria and their two sons, Edward Gloria and wife, Rosa, and Jessie Gloria and wife, Beatrice; four daughters, Sandra Estraca, Susie Stepp, Dominga Gloria, and Abby Gloria; his ex-wife, Sandra Ramirez, and their four sons, Rudy Gloria, Peter Gloria, Carl Gloria and Samuel Gloria; one daughter, Olivia Gloria; twenty seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
