Ella Mae Brown, 90, Blair, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. A family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Petrolia Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Petrolia Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home, Henrietta, Texas. Ella Mae Boyd was born March 31, 1920 to Gabriel and Olive (Butler) Boyd in Hatfield, Arkansas. She married Jeff Brown on December 19, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1977. She worked as a nurse’s aide for many years before retiring. She then cooked meals for senior citizens for a number of years. She loved to sew, quilt and play dominoes. Ella Mae is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Doris Mae Brown and Helen Burris, a son, George Brown, a grandson, Eddie Genson, and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Blazek of Whitesboro, TX, Martha Littlejohn and husband, Charles, of Stillwell, OK, and Dianne Vig and husband, Charlie, of Altus, OK; two sons, Joe Brown of Lake Charles, LA and Paul Brown and wife, Sandi, of Quanah, TX; a brother, Charlie Boyd and wife, Margie, of Texas; thirty five grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
