Emma Lee Nobles, 94, Blair, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Blair First Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Altom and Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Emma Lee Wolf was born on April 21, 1918 near Erick, Oklahoma to Walter and Iris (Brock) Wolf. Emma graduated from Hext High School in Hext, Oklahoma in 1938. She married OC Nobles on January 1, 1949 in Lone Oak, Oklahoma. He died on November 5, 2011. She was an active member of the Blair First Baptist Church, where she was a member for more than 50 years. She also served as the Church Treasurer for many years. She was a remarkable lady who always sent birthday cards to her family and friends, and helped out the older people in Blair. She was a good cook and volunteered her time with Vacation Bible School and funeral dinners. Emma loved playing dominoes and enjoyed flowers, especially her roses in her garden. Her parents, husband, and a brother, Garland Wolfe, preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Renee Howard and husband, Bob, of the Navajoe Community, Farrel Nobles and wife, Debbie, of Altus, OK, and Sue Von Tungeln and husband, Kevin, of Altus, OK; six grandchildren, Chrystle and Dr. Jarrett Kruska of Enid, OK, Ryan Howard and wife, Erin, and Brent Howard, all of Navajoe, Flint and Stacey Nobles of Ardmore, OK, and Caitlin Von Tungeln and Bradley Von Tungeln, both of Altus, OK; and four great grandchildren, Emma Kate and Elliott Kruska, Creed Nobles, and Samantha Howard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blair First Baptist Church, 1032 Hughes Drive, Blair, Oklahoma 73526.
