Ethan Allen Powers, 17, Altus, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016, East of Altus. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Ethan Allen Powers was born on April 15, 1998 to Victor Powers and Crystal Lewis in Altus, Oklahoma. He was a senior at Altus High School and was a member of the Altus High School Swim Team. He enjoyed music, singing with his friends and was a member of the Altus High School Varsity Chorale. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed skateboarding, playing video games, playing guitar, and loved spending time with family and friends. He did not like fishing, cleaning his room or doing dishes.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Lewis, two grandmothers, Angela Dickson and Kay Powers, and a great grandfather, Ross Lingerfelt.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Crystal Roberts and husband, Jaime; father, Victor Powers; stepmother, Chamisa Powers; four sisters, Sierra Roberts, Linda Culpepper, Tawney Dowdy and Miley Roberts; three brothers, Anthony Powers, Laine Roberts and Michael Culpepper; his grandparents, Ron and Shirley Powers, Harold and Felicitas Briones and Patsy Hillegass; his great grandmother, Alice Yarbrough; and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
