Eula Braker Tinsley Williams

Eula Braker Tinsley Williams, 94, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Eldorado First Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Wylie officiating. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Eula Alice Braker was born October 5, 1921, in Eldorado, Oklahoma, to Gus and Alice (Summers) Braker. She was the youngest of 11 children, and attended Eldorado schools. Eula married Douglas M. Tinsley on August 17, 1939 and to this union, two daughters and one son was born. Mr. Tinsley passed away in 1968. Eula later married Leon A. Williams on March 22, 1969. Always industrious, Eula was the owner of the Panther Cafe in Eldorado, Oklahoma, during the 1960's and '70s. She was also an Avon representative for many years. Eula and husband Leon Williams were custom haybailers in Eldorado and in the state of Arizona. She enjoyed being outdoors, yard work, gardening, and canning. Eula was truly the family caretaker, and cherished each member of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; spouses Douglas Tinsley and Leon Williams; four sisters, Mamie, Viola, Naomi and Nannie May, who died at two months; five brothers, Gady, Purdy, Duel Lee and Gordon; a son, Melvyn Tinsley, and a grandson, Lee Heineman.

Eula is survived by two daughters, Shirley Huckabay and husband Gary; Patricia Konkler and husband H.T.; one son, Jimmy Tinsley; Leon's two daughters, Linda Salmon and husband Mike, and Lisa Tinsley; a daughter-in-law, Pattie Tinsley; 12 grandchildren, Mel Tinsley (Mary); Karla Isbell (Brent); Tara Brittain (Travis); Paul Huckabay (Margaux); Kris Konkler (Stacie); Heath Konkler (Amber); Amber LeGrand (James); Brettany Tinsley; Josh Tinsley (Shelly); Michael Salmon (Haylee); Melissa Salmon and Matthew Salmon; 18 great-grand children, Michael, Magen, Tarah, Mitchell, Baylee, Henry Ridge, Ainsley, Rebekah, Hope, Hank, Kinsley, Calton, Brooklyn, Easton, Racyn, Madison, Tucker and Sabrina.

Viewing for Eula Williams will be Sunday from 1- 5 p.m. at Kincannon Funeral Home in Altus. Viewing at the Kincannon Eldorado Chapel will be 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, with the Williams family hosting visitation Monday from 4 - 6 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday morning at the Kincannon Eldorado Chapel beginning at 8 a.m. until service time.
