Eunna Faye McMillian, 81, of Altus, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at English Village Manor. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m.,Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Spirit of the Lord International Church with Apostle Robert Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Eunna was born November 18, 1930 in Altus, OK to J.B., Sr. and Mary Louise (Allen) Jones. She attended Lincoln High School. On December 14, 1950, Eunna married Arlean Rice, Sr. in Altus and then relocated to Tulsa, OK. To this union seven children were born. After 15 years she relocated back to Altus with her children. She remarried on July 20, 1970 to William Lee McMillian in Altus. Eunna worked endlessly to provide the best for her children. Before her untimely illness, she was a devoted and faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She served faithfully as the church clerk for a season. She was involved in Women’s Auxiliary, sang in the church choir and was gifted with a beautiful voice. She was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Jones, Sr.; mother, Mary Louise Jones Martin; two brothers, J.B. Jones, Jr., John Lesley Jones; two sons, Donald Keith Rice and Anthony Dale Rice; and husbands, Arlean Rice, Sr., and William Lee McMillian. Mrs. McMillian leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Betty Paul Phillips of Lawton, OK; two daughters, Paula Williams of Altus, OK, and Kathleen Colen of Altamonte Springs, FL; three sons, Samuel Lee Rice and wife, Mae, of Chanute, KS, Dennis Ray Rice and wife ,Nancy, of Iola, KS, and Mark Rice and wife, Jurneathea, of St. Louis, MO; one step- son, Arlean Rice, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her loving and special friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spirit of the Lord International Church, PO Box 172, Altus, OK 73522.
