Faye Goss “Granny Faye” Scarborough, 84, Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Plantation Village Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Faye Goss was born on March 25, 1926 in Leesville, Louisiana to George and Mattie (LaFitte) Goss, Sr. She grew up in Leesville and graduated from Leesville High School. She lovingly cared for her boys and helped and served people all of her life. She was a great cook and loved country western music, gardening and traveling. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her son, Bobby Scarborough, and a brother, George Goss, Jr., preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Terry Scarborough of Wichita Falls, Texas, James Scarborough and his wife, Vicki, of Altus, Oklahoma, and Larry Scarborough and his wife, Connie, of Bryan, Texas; five grandchildren, Cristy Scarborough of Dallas, Texas, Shawn Scarborough and wife, Mary, of Dallas, Texas, Teresa Scarborough of Dallas, Texas, Scott Scarborough of College Station, Texas, and Katie Beth Perricone and her husband, Christopher, of Crowley, Texas; five great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Elise Goss of Mendenhall, Mississippi.
