Frances Juanelle Wilson, 80, Altus, passed away, Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Blair First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Frances Juanelle Cunningham was born to J.M. and Alberta (Burden) Cunningham on September 10, 1930 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She graduated from Hollis High School in 1948 and attended Oklahoma State University for one year. She married Steve Wilson on June 4, 1949 in Hollis, Oklahoma. Juanelle worked for civil service at Altus AFB, retiring in 1996. She lived in Blair most of her adult life, but resided in Altus for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Blair First Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was also a member of the OSU Alumni Association. She enjoyed swimming, walking, reading and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James M. Cunningham, Jr., a sister-in-law, Deana Cunningham, a brother-in-law, Carl Taylor, and a nephew, Jerry Taylor. Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Wilson of The Woodlands, TX; a son, Jim Bob Wilson of Altus, OK; a sister and brother-in-law, Charla and Bob Duggins of The Woodlands, TX; a brother, Clint Cunningham of Fort Worth, TX; a sister-in-law, Roberta Taylor of Earth, TX; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to services at the Blair First Baptist Church.
